The Training Office plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive training for all agency personnel, covering both law enforcement and fire service disciplines. This encompasses training for new recruits as well as ongoing, in-service training for our veteran officers. Additionally, the Training Office is home to our Recruitment and Retention Officer, who assists the agency in locating and hiring qualified individuals and contributes to the development of strategies for retaining our current officers.
Ensuring that our agency personnel are well-prepared to execute the intricate duties of Public Safety is a top priority. Therefore, we have established a dynamic training program designed to serve three overarching purposes:
