Jordan E. Hawkins was born and raised in Orangeburg and has dedicated his life to public service through the fire service and law enforcement. He currently serves as a state law enforcement officer, bringing a practical, community-focused perspective to his role on City Council.
Hawkins previously served as a Public Safety Officer with the City of Orangeburg and was awarded the Medal of Valor in 2013 for his actions in the line of duty. He also serves as a board member with the Wolfton Fire Department and is a member of the Judicial Merit Selection Commission Citizens Committee for the 1st, 9th, and 14th Judicial Circuits.
He is married and the proud father of two daughters and remains committed to serving the citizens of Orangeburg with integrity, accountability, and transparency.
