CITY OF ORANGEBURG, S.C. Budget
Pursuant to Section 6-1-80 of the SC Code of Laws
Public notice is hereby given that the City Council for the City of Orangeburg will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 6:00 pm in Council Chambers, located at 933 Middleton Street, Orangeburg, South Carolina 29115. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments on 1) the proposed City Budget for the Fiscal year October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027, 2) the proposed budget increases the millage rate from 109 mills to 119 mills, and 3) the proposed changes to the City Master Fee Schedule.
Citizens are encouraged to attend and present their views, either verbally or in writing. Public comments may also be made by emailing publiccomment@orangeburg.sc.us. An appointment is not necessary for inclusion on the Public Hearing portion of the agenda. Assistance will be provided upon request to accommodate individuals with special needs attending the meeting. Special assistance requests should be made to the Administrator's Office at (803) 533-6000 twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled Public Hearing.
