Orangeburg City Council will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, July 13, at 12:00 PM  in City Council Chambers, 933 Middleton Street for the following purpose:

NEW BUSINESS

  1. Resolution accepting a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grant; approving the use of grant funds; authorizing further actions 

EXECUTIVE SESSION

  1. Discussion of employment, appointment, compensation, promotion, demotion, discipline or release of an employee.  SC Code Sec. 30-4-70 (a)(1) 
    1. Department of Public Safety
    2. City Wide

COUNCIL MAY ENTER EXECUTIVE SESSION TO DISCUSS ANY ITEM(S) PERMITTED BY THE SOUTH CAROLINA FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT TO BE DISCUSSED IN EXECUTIVE SESSION.

COUNCIL MAY ELECT TO RETURN TO OPEN SESSION AND VOTE ON ANY MATTERS DISCUSSED IN EXECUTIVE SESSION.
