Pursuant to the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Orangeburg, S. C., a meeting of the Board of Zoning Appeals of the City of Orangeburg has been scheduled in the City Council Chambers, 933 Middleton Street for Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 6:00 P.M.

The purpose of the Public Hearing is as follows:

The consideration of a request from Paragon Inc. of South Carolina LLC for a special exception at 237 and 245 Maxcy Street, Orangeburg, SC 29115, Tax Map #0173-15-14-034.000 and 0173-15-14-033.000 to be used for rooming/boarding housing for students.

The consideration of a request from Paragon Inc. of South Carolina LLC for a special exception at 550 Bleakley Street, Orangeburg, SC 29115, Tax Map #0173-15-22-002.000 to be used for rooming/boarding housing for students.

The consideration of a request from Paragon Inc. of South Carolina LLC for a parking variance to the property at 237 and 245 Maxcy Street, Orangeburg, SC 29115, Tax Map #0173-15-14-034.000 and 0173-15-14-033.000 to be used for rooming/boarding housing for students.

The consideration of a request from Paragon Inc. of South Carolina LLC for a parking variance to the property at 550 Bleakley Street, Orangeburg, SC 29115, Tax Map #0173-15-22-002.000 to be used for rooming/boarding housing for students.

All persons who may be affected by the decisions of the Board of Zoning Appeals in this matter may appear in person, by agent, or by attorney, for the purpose of expressing themselves in support of or in opposition to these matters. Information pertaining to this matter may be examined at City Hall, Public Works Office, 1099 Russell Street, Orangeburg, SC. Written comments in favor of or in opposition may be submitted to David Epting at City Hall.
