CANCELED - Public Notice of Planning Commission and City Council Public Hearings - CANCELED

The City of Orangeburg Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing in Council Chambers at 933 Middleton Street, Orangeburg, SC on April 23, 2020 at 6:00 PM for the following purpose.

 To review the City of Orangeburg 2016-2026 Comprehensive Plan for the purpose of reviewing and possible amendment and change of the Future Land Use Plan Suburban Residential classification of properties located between St. Matthews Road and Dantzler Street and on both sides of Stuart Street to the Urban Residential classification and specifically including the possible classification amendment of properties located at 1090 St. Matthews Road, TMP# 0173-05-05-001.000, 1070 St. Matthews Road, TMP# 0173-05-05-015.000, and 1080 St. Matthews Road, TMP #0173-05-05-016.000.

 Additionally, Orangeburg City Council currently will be scheduled to have a Public Hearing and first reading of an Ordinance amending the City of Orangeburg 2016-2026 Comprehensive Plan as stated above and as recommended by the Planning Commission on May 5, 2020, at the regular council meeting at 7:00pm located at 933 Middleton Street. Second reading may be at the regular City Council Meeting on May 19, 2020, at 7:00 PM.  Third and final reading may be scheduled at the regular City Council Meeting on June 2, 2020.
