Community Risk Reduction

Community Risk Reduction for the Orangeburg Department of Public Safety is a system and process in which programs, actions, and services within our community are utilized to prevent injuries, loss of life, loss of property, and damage to the environment.  The Community Risk Reduction (CRR)  process identifies and prioritizes local risks, followed by the integrated and strategic investment of resources (emergency response and prevention) to reduce the occurrence and impact of loss or injury.
