Notice of Special Planning Commission Meeting

The City of Orangeburg Planning Commission will hold a special meeting on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at 6 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 933 Middleton Street. The purpose of this meeting is consideration related to the January 26, 2023, Planning Commission agenda item number 4, which is the consideration of an application for 100 percent annexation of property belonging to the City of Orangeburg, 3397 Broughton Street, TMS#0151-15-11-001.000.

Subject Properties: Descriptions of all properties are available for public viewing at City Hall.

Additionally, Orangeburg City Council may hold a first reading of the ordinance for the above purpose during the regular Council meeting on February 21, 2023, 6 p.m. The Council may hold a Public Hearing and second reading during the regular City Council meeting on March 7, 2023, 6 p.m. and may have third reading of said ordinance during the regular City Council meeting on March 21, 2023, 6 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 933 Middleton Street.

All persons who may be affected by the decisions in these matters may appear for the purpose of expressing themselves. The meetings will be available for live public viewing on the City's Facebook account www.facebook.com/cityoforangeburg. Public comments can be made by emailing publiccomment@orangeburg.sc.us. Materials pertaining to these matters may be examined at City Hall, 979 Middleton Street. Special assistance request should be made to the Administrator's Office at 803-533-6000 twenty-four hours prior to the scheduled Public Hearing.
