2019 Delinquent Tax Sale

On June 30, 2021, the South Carolina Supreme Court found Act 174 unconstitutional in Mercury Funding LLC vs Kim Chesney (Op No 28040). As a result of this decision the twelve months extension of the 2019 tax sale redemption period and the additional interest has been invalidated. Property will be redeemed at 12% interest and Rent will be calculated on 12 months.

Persuant to Section 12-51-120 of the South Carolina Code of Laws property sold at the 2019 Delinquent Tax Sale on December 9, 2019 must be redeemed no later than 5:00 P.M., September 17, 2021 or a tax title will be issued to the successful bidder.

FAILURE TO REDEEM PROPERTY ON OR BEFORE SAID DUE DATE AND TIME MAY RESULT IN THE PERMANENT LOSS OF YOUR PROPERTY!
