The Disc Golf Course in the Gardens offers a fun activity for individuals or groups. This twenty-seven hole course was professionally designed and each hole features hole signs, cement tee pads, and regulation target baskets. Disc golf is played similar to ball golf. Instead of using a club and golf ball, you use a disc to throw at the target basket. Getting the disc in the basket is the same as a golf ball going into the cup. Simply count the number of throws it takes to get the disc in the basket for your score. The course is the site of the annual Orangeburg Festival of Roses Disc Golf Tournament, other tournaments and clinics, and league play. The course is open from dawn to dusk and there is no fee to play the course.
